As Toastmasters (members), we are passionate about the desire to communicate effectively and to improve our leadership skills. What better way to achieve this than to participate in District 61’s 103rd Conference: November 13 to 15. Come and meet other passionate members!
So, it is with great anticipation that our passionate team awaits your arrival at the magnificent Château Bromont nestled in the heart of the Eastern Townships … a picturesque setting of peace, beauty and enchantment
Our fascinating weekend begins with a 90-minute workshop presented by one of Toastmasters finest ambassadors, the 2001 World Champion of Public Speaking and humour expert, Darren LaCroix.
The one-man show is followed by an event out of this world: «ToastmaSTAR Academy.» Yes, here’s your opportunity to showcase one of your passions; be it singing, dancing, playing music or some other hidden talent.
On Saturday, you will have the opportunity to attend the Humorous Speech Contest and a selection of workshops led by experienced, passionate presenters. Then enjoy lunch with our recipient of the Communication and Leadership award. But above all, you won’t want to miss our wonderful governor's banquet followed by our famous dance party.
On Sunday, a surprise awaits you at breakfast. Then, it’s off to the Evaluation Contest, more workshops and, finally, the closing ceremonies.
Friends, our conference theme is «Take your passion. Make it happen!» Come one; come all to our district’s 103rd conference. I promise it to be a weekend you won’t forget!
