District 61 Fall Conference 2013

  Dear Toastmaster friends,

I would like to personally invite you to join us for a jam-packed weekend of fun and learning at the 2013 Fall Conference to share “The Toastmasters Experience” with your fellow Toastmasters and guests on November 8, 9 & 10th 2013 at Château Bromont in Bromont, Quebec.

Our team has been working diligently at preparing a brochette of activities to help you grow as a Toastmaster.

On Friday the 8th at 6:00 p.m., David Brooks, our keynote speaker, will kick off the conference activities.

Wine and cheese will follow at 7:00 p.m. (They usually turn out to be powerful speaking aids.☺)

At 8:00 p.m., be ready to laugh at our surprise humour session, followed by dancing until 1:00 a.m. or whatever your feet will endure. (In other words… it’s party time!)

Then, bright and early, on Saturday it’s breakfast at 7:00 a.m.

At 8:00 David Brooks will jumpstart the day’s activities to be followed by the ever-so-popular workshops and contests, as well as the lunchtime “Awards Ceremony” and business meeting.

By 6:00 p.m. you will all be ready for cocktails, where you will mingle, meet and greet until the District Governor’s Banquet with the DTM presentations followed by dancing to your heart’s content (more party time!).

It’s now Sunday. 7:00 a.m., and time for breakfast.

At 8:00 a.m., we will hold the C&L Awards ceremony followed by more workshops and contests.

After all this fun, learning, and enjoying meeting new friends, we can all look forward to the closing ceremonies at 11:00 a.m.

By noon, it’s a wrap! We will be very sorry to see you go and with a true sense of accomplishment, we’ll all check out, exchange hugs and handshakes, and all the great things Toastmasters do.

It’s an “au revoir” until the Spring Conference!

Oh but wait, you don’t want to miss the opportunity to register for the Fall Conference first!
