Driving Directions from Ottawa/Hull:

  • Go across the MacDonald-Cartier Bridge    
  • Take Exit 2 for Hwy 50 East to Gatineau-Montréal    
  • Then on the Hwy 50 East, exit at George Street (Exit 165) to Junction of Hwy 148 East   
  • Hwy 148 East will take you through the villages of Thurso, Plaisance and Papineauville   
  • As you arrive in Montebello, you will see the main entrance gate on the right just before the intersection on Hwy 323

Driving Directions from Montreal:

  • Leave Montreal by Autoroute 40 West (TransCanada Hwy)  
  • Then, 31 miles (51 km) west on Hwy 40 Ouest (West) (Hwy 40 Ouest becomes Route 417 Ouest (West) once you are in the province of Ontario)   
  • Take Exit 9 to Hawkesbury and turn right on Tupper Street at the Best Western Heritage Hotel    
  • Go to the end of this street and turn left at the stop sign   
  • At the first traffic light, turn right and cross the Pont Long Sault (bridge)   
  • Continue straight until you turn left at junction with Route 148    
  • As you leave the village of Montebello you will see the main entrance gate on your left, just after the junction of Hwy 323

Driving Directions from Cornwall:

  • Take Hwy 401 East until junction to the 34 North    
  • Take route 34 North towards Hawkesbury   
  • Once in Hawkesbury, make a left hand turn at the fourth set of lights   
  • Cross the Long Sault bridge   
  • At the second set of lights, make a left onto Hwy 148 West towards Hull/Montebello   
  • Hwy 148 West will take you through the villages of Calumet, Pointe-au-Chêne and Fassett before you reach the village of Montebello   
  • Fairmont Le Château Montebello is located at the very end of the village, on your left hand side just after the flashing yellow light.
