"Speaking with Your Pen" |
| Speech writing is more than throwing a few stories together with an introduction and conclusion at each end. Given the limited time to speak and the short attention span of an audience, a speaker needs to capture their attention and hold it throughout. To accomplish this, a speaker has to do much more than present words that are understandable. This training session teaches you how to manage the "mental movie" in the mind of an audience, and how to bring an audience member's mind to engage sensually and psychologically with the speaker's message. Participants will learn how to turn 800 words in a seven-minute speech into 500,000 words comprised of imagery bringing life and meaning to the message. |
